Make it yours
Add 2–100 options, one per line. A short label is easier to read on the wheel.
A LITTLE CHANCE. A LOT OF POSSIBILITY.

A tiny twist
of possibility.
Your draft stays on this device until you save or share it online.
Choose several winners without repeats. Your original entries and weights stay saved.
Choose how many winners you need, then start the draw.
Matching names, ignoring letter case, count as one participant. Their weights add together; all matching entries leave the draw after a win. Give different people distinct labels.
The original list is locked during this draw. Remaining participants appear on the wheel; their chances are recalculated after each winner.

Sharing saves a fixed results page and preview image online. Anyone with the link can see the original entries, weights and winners.
Draws run in your browser. A shared result records what its creator supplied; it is not an independently verified draw.
Turn one list into teams, groups or pairs. Every participant gets one place.
Add your people, choose the team sizes and make your teams.
Pause or finish the reveal to see the current teams. Use Edit setup to clear an unfinished grouping and change the list.
Matching names, ignoring letter case, count as one person. Give different people distinct labels, such as a surname or number.
Everyone has an equal chance. Wheel weights are not used. Team sizes differ by at most one person; this does not balance skill levels.
Every entry. An equal chance.

A LITTLE LESS INDECISION
Some choices deserve a spreadsheet. Others just need a nudge. This random wheel picker turns your list into a colourful wheel, whether you are choosing the next game, taking turns in class, or picking one idea from a very long brainstorm.
Write one option on each line, give the wheel a title, and press Spin. Entries start with equal chances. Choose Custom weights to give some options a larger share. Keep the selected option for another round, or remove it when everyone should have a turn. Your list and recent results stay in this browser.
Start with a situation you recognise. A useful wheel contains choices you can actually act on, with a clear question in the title.
Everyone has a different suggestion and nobody wants to choose. Put three or four games on the wheel, check that everyone is happy to play any of them, and spin. For a more playful round, try the truth or dare wheel with editable prompts.
Choose a presenter, a team captain, or the person who picks the next song. The random name picker starts with names instead of activities. Remove the selected entry after each turn when your group wants to avoid repeats.
Add sketch subjects, writing ideas, or things to photograph. One spin can give you a starting constraint without planning the whole project. The random color wheel is a good companion when the subject is settled but your palette is still wide open.
With equal weights, Walk, Read, Cook and Draw each have a 25% chance. Giving Walk weight 2 and the others weight 1 makes Walk’s chance 40% and each other chance 20%. The same result is possible with duplicate lines, but weights keep the list shorter. Try the weighted wheel for a ready-made example.
Keeping all entries makes each spin a new independent pick. Removing a winner changes the next draw because there are fewer choices left. Shuffle changes the order around the wheel, not the odds. Choose your rules before the first spin so everyone knows whether repeats are part of the game.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Yes. All the features in this version are free to use, without an account.
By default, every non-empty line has the same chance. Custom weights let you change this: an entry’s chance is its weight divided by the total weight. Repeated labels count as separate entries. The sector sizes show the probabilities, and the animation lands on the result chosen by your browser’s cryptographic random generator.
Drafts save automatically in this browser when storage is available. Save wheel stores your title, options, weights and colour palette online and creates a short link. Save changes updates that same link; Create a fixed copy makes a separate snapshot that will not change. Anyone with either link can read the wheel, but only its owner can change the original.
Use 2–100 non-empty lines, with up to 80 characters per entry. Short labels are easier to read on the wheel; the editor keeps the complete text. Blank lines are ignored. If only one entry remains after removals, it is the final option and there is nothing left to randomise.
Yes. Tap the Spin button or the centre of the wheel. Focus mode gives the wheel more room during a group activity. You can switch sound off, choose a light or dark site theme, and use Save image to download a PNG of the current wheel.
Open a wheel’s shared link to spin it on another device. To manage your saved wheels there, open your private library link from My wheels. Keep that link to yourself: it grants editing and deletion access. Spin history stays on each device, and clearing browser data removes local access unless you have kept the private link.
